I need to either figure out 3d printing or do a scour on the internet for some badges on the project cars i have. At the very least id love a 3.0 badge for my 190E that doesnt involve lookin up parts from a single year w115 chassis

I’m not sure if places like protolabs offer plating on 3d printed plastics, they do have SLS printers but that is expensive.

Yeah for 3 inches of plastic its almost worth learning how to make stuff.
I already faced a similar situation when a friend of mine was leaning on my 500E and their pants caught the E and took it.

Could cut this up https://www.ebay.com/itm/W123-MERCEDES-BENZ-CHROME-EMBLEM-300D-/130702286373 and try and find a chrome period to glue in there. It’d be difficult to match their type face.

Ive debated taking a 300 E badge and dremeling off the letters to fit on a 2.3 badge before. Its all future thoughts though when i go for paint
